An airplane on Mars is possible. It must take off and land vertically and use ultra-lightweight materials and a CoFlow Jet. I am introducing a new concept that should provide a « little something extra, » perhaps a decisive one: a flat nozzle, made possible by the position of a solar panel array above the wing. The airplane could thus fly at a cruising speed of 300 km/h instead of the 700 km/h of a « conventional » airplane.
