Pascal Lee, a researcher at the SETI Institute, has just published a report on the work carried out under his supervision by one of his students on a project exploring the pits and caverns in the Cerberus Fossae region, near the Cerberus Tholus 1 (CT1) volcano. This region is of interest due to its recent volcanic and tectonic activity. The exploration tool is NASA’s Mars Chopper, a multicopter with a promising future.
