Worst case for a rotative Space station located in L1 of the Earth Moon system
After presenting the advantages of establishing a space station around the L1 Lagrange point of the Earth-Moon system, and then the advantages of having the station’s torus rotate at ≤ 2 rpm at a distance of ≥ 110 meters from its center, I would like to focus on the implications and show that our choice should be geared towards a compromise that is not the ideal station but the most realistic. Therefore, the ideal presented hereunder is the worst case. Next week, I will explain my choice.
